When You Fall

I am fascinated by the idea of an angel giving up it's immortality for love, yes it's kind of a cliche but its what i like. USUALLY when you see a drawing of an angel with one wing, it mean he gave half of himself to someone else...at least that's what I try to convey with my drawings. Here in this particular drawing, not only did he give up part of himself but he was betrayed by the very person he gave it to. It's kind of how I've been feeling lately, always giving up some part of me and never receiving anything in return... and at the end of the day I feel betrayed.
